Recent alternative videos




This video is by James Blake who is part of the alternative genre but probably slightly less urban and more indie than our song choice. However his video has some of the key iconography you would expect to find and has seemed to advanced on that to make it very current and original. Originality is the main thing i like about this video as well as it being very abstract and symbolostic. The women character is an instant indicator of James Blakes genre by her fashion and her look which is very natural and unpolished.

    I love the footage you took on Friday.
    Were you filming over the weekend too? Upload the raw footage you've shot already and comment on your initial ideas for editing.

    Careful with your terminology on your digipak design: 'animated' implies moving image.
